I havent removed the cylinder head before, but have removed everything else (inlet manifold, turbo, timing belt, injectors, cam carrier, vac pump etc) So i may be able to help with any questions on those specific things, but nothing on the cylinder head on a z19dth

How long did that process take you mate.

I have done a turbo - and loads of timing belts etc. Just never actually removed a head.

    Thx

I Had done it at different stages (and on different cars as i've never had to remove the cam carrier from mine)

At a guess, between 8-12 hours to remove and refit a cylinder head if the injectors arent seized on a vectra (taking the front end off too), you could possibly make things quicker by removing the head with the inlet manifold and fuel pump still attached (if able to)

I was thinking that mate... Keep on as muh as possible to limit what I need to strip. Would be VERY handy if you can remove the head without having to split of the inlet. thats already a new one.
