honestly mate the best engine mod you could do is a full service with original GM parts and oil. Clean out the egr valve. Although I plan on doing a re-map.

After an oil change with 0W40 fully synthetic add Oil catch can for the CCV system, EGR strip and clean remap with EGR removal to about 195/200HP will result in smoke but remain in the realms of decent MPG timing belt change and waterpump clean and empty the intercooler of oil and clean the throttle body and boost sensors, all a good beginning.

    Vehicle : Vauxhall

    Trim : very

    Engine : Z19DTH

    Year : Nosey

0w-40 is too thick and is not suitable for the 1.9cdti, it can lead to turbo failure. Contact Vauxhall customer care if a Vauxhall garage incorrectly stuck that in your car. If you did it yourself then change for a 5w-30 or 0w-30 asap.

The crank breaths very heavily on these resulting in lots of oil in the pipes and intercooler.
