    is there anything out there for mine?

    I need more now............lol

    especially, to get rid of the lag between gears.

    Tried K&N and it made it worse.

    Did you mod the airbox when you fitted the filter as i did just that to Mrs D's DTI and i got 17BHP and 20 lb/ft of torque !!!!!!!

    P.S and there is much less lag between gears !!!!

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

    You take out a piece of restrictive plastic in the bottom half of the box. there is a post about this somewhere on here. also try adding an extra inlet and dont forget to reset your ecu

    how you reset your ecu? i took that piece out of my air box but didnt notice any real difference

    a remap will help alot but not sure if you have a hybrid ecu, if ya do ya may forget about remaping or fitting a tuning box!! i know as i have a hybrid ecu and cant do anything about it really

    You can reset your ecu by removing the positive connection from the battery and leaving it off for 20-30 mins. i left for 30 when fitting my filter, just to make sure

    so what does that do for your motor? will ya loose the radio code if ya leave the terminal off???

    Yes it will reset the stereo as well. if you dont have the radio code you can go to vx and get it done or just dont reset the ecu. everything else will be fine but the engine will perform alot better after it has been run in

    I hav a signum 2.2dti, in need of a new air filter i recon and was considering a k&n, is it worth it and are you advising reseting the ecu after fitting a k&n filter? also these airbox mods - Im unclear on what to take out.
