No point, Diesels don't use vacuum as they are the petrol equivilent of wide open throttle. The throttle body on the intake if the CDTI is merely used for closing the intake when the engine is turned off.

Diesels still have a vacuum, And the 'throttle body' (Intake shutter valve) Is there primaraly for the EGR valve

i was only asking because having a vacuum reading can help with finding if you have a boost/vacuum leak

You'll get a vacuum reading from the Vac pump pipes. Don't touch the ones leading to the brake servo but you should be able to tap into the vac pipes before the boost solenoid

Would be pointless unless you wanted to moniter if your vacuum pump was working?

You wont get a boost reading from the vacuum pipes. Boost reading will have to be taken from the intake, either on the manifold, or by putting an attachment on the intercooler boost pipe.
