Default Our newest kitchen gagdget ... and it doesn't have batteries or a plug!

Something we have been after for a long, long time is a good ice cream scoop ... fed up of bending spoons and breaking plastic scoops we decided enough was enough and forked out £7 for one of these

... and it just goes to show that you get what you pay for ... it's absolutely superb! It's got a really solid weight to it, has a completely smooth metal head and retains heat really well (to slice through the ice cream). For anyone after a proper scoop I can thoroughly recommend!!

oh well ... just had to share that with you!

If thats what I think it is then they are ace! The liquid in the handle transfers the heat to the head so you can ball your icecream better. But beware the ones I used to use were filled with mercury! Not to sure If they are nowadays but that was only 2 years ago.

*pmsl* Are you men or mouses !! Hope no one happens on this from another forum, all our street cred will be gone

It does look like a good scoop though, another helpful hint, when scooping icecream for a smoother scoop use cold water on the scoop not hot !! (jeez there I go now !!)
