Angry Absolutly fuming need info please

had to nip in to asda to day to pick up a couple of xmas gifts for the kids

we had to leave the kids sat in the car for a few so that they didnt see what we bought them

when we got back noticed the oldest had managed to pull the back of the seat down (cloth) after a bit of faffing ive managed to lift it back in to place

what I need to know is there clips or anything that hold it in place its too dark for me to see any it seems to be fixed fairly well now I dont want to pull on it too much for fear of more damage

also can i get away with cable tying the kids down when i need to leave them in the car in future as it may save there lives in the long run

How old are you kids? As a parent I would say if they arent old enough not to trash your car are they really old enough to be left alone?

Anyway to answer your question when you say the back of your seat do you mean teh bit removed in this thread http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...light=headrest?

Vectras already do that by themselves.

As already said, lucky. A friend of ours did similar and her little darling pressed the lighter in then, when it popped set her magazine on fire inside the car.

yeah the back bit with the cloth

kids are 10 and 8 old enough to sit for 10 mins at the most whilst I pick up two presents and walk through the check out, after all the car is dead locked so nobody can open the door and they know not to speak to people they dont know

theres no cig lighter in the car and electrics are turned off inside when the key is removed even if there was

and kids know what the hand break is and what happens if they took it off not only that I always leave it in gear as I have done with every car I have driven

when I was a kid Id sit and wait for my parents for longer than that when they went in to the shops with my brother and sister
