    Default oem xenon

    ive a normal sri with headlights and i know u can get the xenon headlamp...is there a way to fit oem xenon bulbs into the sri headlamp? i know what your thinking,just get hid..ive had so much trouble with them fed up of them being faulty n not lasting...fed up removing bumper all the time....also any pics of xenon headlamp the back of it with or without bulbs ballast thanks

    Nope, OEM xenon bulbs don't use the H7 bulb base, they are D2S bulbs.

    Aftermarket ones are just as good

    I don't mean to upset you with this comment, but have you tried the Osram Nightbreaker Plus H7 Bulbs (standard)?

    y wud u upset me u plonker! lol id try anythink once...ive had them they good hid seem better,better in fog too...i got osram f/b there good! im just sick of replacing hid every few months...thought hid direct would be good as there recommended on here...total waste of time,after 4 weeks ive got replacement ballast and same problems...so bulbs just went to order some and they blocked me twits! so i ordered off there online shop not ebay fools...and i got 10% off...do phillips or anyone do a good quality hid bulb with the universal fitment..?

    Facelift use d1s xenon bulb and yes there is possibility fitting either xenons or afl's

    hids direct - total waste of money mate.

    the guys stuff is total crap.

    i had nothing but trouble with kit from them - cost me £70.
    i removed their crap from my cr and bought a cheap hid kit - £27 and bought cancellers seperately.
    the cheap hid kit has now been in my car for a year now and not had one bit of trouble with the kit.

    btw.........hids direct is a 1 man operation based in a wee unit in manchester - it aint no big company as everyone seems to think.

    ur damm right there rude too...i think they got 3 staff 2men 1 female....still small...unless there just pretending...thats y id like to go oem with out the expensive headlight swop...be so much better...
