I just put the aircon on...great if you have it,PITA if you don't
forgot to mention that i do use it but to be honest waste more petrol than doing anything else
Try placing a small bowl of salt in the ashtray as this might soak up any moisture within the car. But.......to be honest I think it's a common fault within the design of the car.
stop breathing so heavy lol
It is basically damp that is causing the condesation. You say the cabin is dry but if it did get wet it can take months to dry out completely. Also keep getting in with wet shoes etc does not help.
I left the window open on mine one rainy night, and it obviously got soaked. Even with a good pollen filter and a clean scuttle drain (never had a problem with mine blocking btw) it steamed up easily for months. Eventually it stopped steaming up by itself once it had dried out.
It just takes time to dry out...
Can't say I've ever had a problem with windows steaming up, I never use the air-con.
not on the vec but on my new insignia it's really bad
My signums never suffered from steamy windows either. Perhaps its because I dont use the air con, or at least if I do, I dry the condensation out of the ducts by turning the ac off and the heat right up for the last 10 mins of the journey. Perhaps your mats are damp from your wet feet? or your not drying the air con out properly?
Only time mine did it is when I cleaned the boot out with a hose
