The Vauxhall paint is quite soft and very easy to work on. Personally I use a rotary, a lot of members have great joy with DA and some have even managed to do it by hand. (A LOT of elbow grease). Your Black Vec will come up a dream.

I can only rate on the Menzerna range, as that's what my very understanding wife bought me last year for Christmas, she even joined the detailingworld forum asking for recommendations on products for me. (I LOVE HER). came with a rotary and pads, as part of a kit. I soon replaced the pads.

Hi mike If you have access to a DA then try some DOdo juice Need for speed this is a very liquid cleaner wax with a fine cut so it is relatively easy to remove your swirl marks and finer scratches .
This is also probably the easiest one to use if you do not have a DA its still going to be hard work but you should see some favourable results by hand .
once your happy then you need a good gloss sealent for this and with yours being a black car then it has to be Chemical guys Blacklight or Britemax,s Blackmax both of these wil give you the kind of deep shine your looking for
all you will need then is a good long lasting wax to protect your paint . Try collinite 476 or 915 each of these are good for at least 3 months worth of protection

Mike have a look on e bay for DAS6 polishers there are quite a few going fairly cheap at the moment Try your luck on some of the ones open for bidding
For das 6 i would ,nt pay more than £55-60
    For a das 6 pro i would,nt pay more than £100
As this is the price you can usually get these for new
