Exhaust emission light on 1.9 CDTi

I removed the airbox to gain access to change the headlamp bulb.....put it all back together. I did notice when I was taking it off that the lower large hose on the airbox wasn't seated properly. When putting it all back I put the hose on properly, ensured the MAF sensor is connected, but the exhaust emission light is on.
Any suggestions

Did you fully remove the AFM? Is it on the right way round?

No, I left it attached to the irbox lid. Anyway, just been out in the car and it's no longer on.
