Default heartburn & hungry help please

Right guys I never get heartburn but think I'm allergic to alcohol because since last night I have had really bad heartburn in the throat. I'm starving but not sure what to eat because I don't want to make it worse. All I've had is a packed of Rennie's but I'm still hungry

Any of you guys get heartburn? If so what is safe to eat?

    Help a hungry girl please

I suffer a lot with heartburn & have to take tablets every day to keep it under control .
you would be best eating something such as toast to soak up the acid , basically it will be worse when you are hungry as the acid has nothing to go at .

I've been on tablets for a couple years now for it after having food poisoning, Try getting some Yakult and activia yogurt, it settles mine, infact I had to get them yesterday. You can still eat, just avoid fizzy/acidic juice, apples etc Tomatoes, pickles

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm going to try some coco pops

Only taken Rennie's but they only work when your chewing or sucking them. Gaviscon tastes horrible & makes me gag, can hardly swollow the stuff

I get it all the time but i am over weight. Milk is a no go and anything generally with lots of fat. I'll get heartburn with alcohol if I take alcohol without any food.
