    Trim : GSi Spec

    Engine : 1910

    Year : 2004

    Mileage : 140k +

    Cool 1.9 CDTi 120 Seems abit sluggish....

    Hello again... Only me.....

    Im not sure if its me or not... but when driving the vec, which has been good to me for a while now and on 138k...

    But i bought a 1.3 CDTi van the other day, i know its a diff engine, but it seems to rev really freely... were as the 1.9 seems to hold back as such when using the rev range??

    Any one have any idea what it could be??

    I have the 1.9 120, and my work van is a year newer, an astra 1.3 cdti

    The 1.3 is the most powerless ting I've ever driven, and although newer and with less miles I love to get back into my Veccy - have to say though that the DTUK box on the Veccy helps too!

    I would say give your egr a good clean and while your at it clean your boost sensor also try forte engine cleaner might help it too

    EGR was cleaned when i got the car around 7 months ago... same with boost sensor.... sometimes when booting it.... spanner comes up which tells me boost sensor is kaput.... but u turn of and back on again, its normal.....

    Had this, clean the egr (both sides) and lubricate the solenoid, makes a big difference..
