Well the time has come for me to move on from the Vectra C. I have been pondering for a while, and finally took the plunge to sell my Vectra and invest in an Insignia.
The Vectra generated a fair amount of interest, and the eventual buyer is coming tomorrow to collect it. Ill be sorry to see it go as a lot of time and passion (and with much help from folks on here too) to get it to where it is today.
Collected the new (to me) Insignia yesterday
I am now a proud owner of a 61 Plate Insignia Elite ecoflex S/S. Collected it yesterday from the dealer and drove it home last night. Mostly Dual Carriageway and Motorway (100 Miles) and it gave me 62 Mpg - so pretty happy with that!
Lovely to drive and very comfortable. Told it didn't come with bluetooth, however i found out that if you actually turn it on in the menus it works a treat - so bonus for there!! Saved a few ££ as the ones with BT fitted were near on £250-500 more!
Anyway, here are the first pics which i have taken - It needs a full on exterior wash and polish to bring it upto my personal liking, but overall for an 10 month old car with 8000k on the clock its pretty spot on!!
Ill not be gone totally. I have very much enjoyed what the Vec-C forum has given me over the past 6 years, and i like to think i have amassed a fair bit of knowledge which i can still pass on to others. Ill check in as regular as always and pipe up and help where I can.
Many thanks to everyone who helped me during my Vectra ownership
