Its not inconceivable that its a vaild email address as i know people who send emails to the CEO of BT very often get a personal email back from him and pretty sharp resolution to problems.

No, it was only a joke. Sometimes it does help to email a CEO, if you're complaining for example, but it's rarely read by him, it gets read by one of his team of Executive Assistants, who have the authority to open doors and get matters resolved.
