That's correct actually @10% of optimism got the same figures on mine and I can confirm there's nothing wrong with the MPG mine gets that as I am £50/week and do the same mileage.

    Really?

I thought that the 1.9 150 should get more than that?

You mentioned 40-70 so I assume you're doing town driving too? I have mixed journey's. Some rely too much on the trip computer.

I get between 42 -46 calculated brim to brim every fill up and trip computer says average of 44 since last service; so mine is fairly accurate. I do 20 miles each way on mixed country A & B roads with some town driving. Depends how much clear roads I get really........... If I refrain from using the go button and drive like a complete grandad it's quite easy to get it up into the 50's, but it's just not in my nature lol

yeah its some 30mph aswell but my commute to and from work sees my BC jump to anything from 59-65MPG but even at those figures i still get the same milage.

It almost feels like my car is "set" to do a specific amount of miles becuase i can drive like i stole it or drive like a granny and still get them same comsumption

Mind you, colder weather is here now, heaters on,lights on for longer and car taking that littlke bit extra to get up to temp

I've just topped up after covering 650 miles and managed £70 at £1.41 - travelling on A roads and through 2 towns and 3 villages on my commute.
