expected mpg of a cdti 120?

Just a quick one,what should i expect from my cdti 120 mpg wise?
No matter how i drive i cant get it over 45mpg,always hovers around the 44.7 mpg area,i drive it slow or fast and it moves slightly either way.is this ok?

Mine's about the same. A lot of short journeys with a heavy right foot

On the motorway, can get high 50's easily

Not done much motorway driving,mainly to work and back.when i first got it it was in the mid 50s but had to put new battery on so it reset and never ever got it back up there.

Mine varies from 44-51 mpg depending on how hard i drive it.

Mine sits at 49.5 round the doors and 60 on motorway i cleaned just about everything or replaced it lol

I get the same with an estate - but over winter these mpg's drop by about 3mpg.

Mine seems a bit low then,not by much mind and still way better than my old vec b so i dont think theres much wrong.will just keep.an eye on it i think.cheers for the info guys

My average on computer is showing 35.8 mpg

I decided to go and pay my respects to a friend who took his own life over in Germany this time last year. I couldn't really afford it as my tyres were low and the diesel was coming out of a credit card, but I had to do it. I drove on cruise control for around a 1000miles round trip at 60-65mph. Trip computer maxed out on 71.7mpg
