Default got a few questions about my gsi.

hi guys have just joined so sorry if this is in the wrong place. ok so ive had my 53 plate vecy c gsi for about 3 weeks now and have got a few things i wana ask you all about if ok.
its the 3.2 z32se with manule transmission and a wopping 157k on the clock. lol

firstly i have the headlight up/down symbol on the dash. have been told its a sensor but thats about all i know. had a look at what i think is the sensor around the pass front ball joint area but nothing. the lights dont go up or down and i dont hear the motors ever.

also the headlights are all faded . tried g3 and a lot of elbow grease but no better. do i need particular lights from the gsi or did others have the h.i.d.

um next is that at about 40-50mph the car shakes a lot . it is a totally standerd car and i have had the wheels balanced but its still there and only stops when im not throttling but the min i touch the throttle she shakes from 40 ish all the way to well over 100 ( trfied it on a private runway lol ) ive been told driveshafts or duell mass flywheel but not sufe if there is anything known about this.
theres also creaking when i turn at very low speeds coming from gfront suspension if it means anything.

and lastly do vectra c standerd vxr springs fit and work as a nice upgrade on the gsi or are they the same as i found a set very cheap lol

sorry for the huge post -

Alright mate. I think if your car has the xenon kit fitted then the 'up down' it automatic so maybe the sensor is shot. Yes other models have the xenon packs but i think it was an optional extra and the preface xenon kits are like rocking horses tooth dust!

The clunk might be one of the CV joints. Try getting the car in the air and looking for play in the running gear.

Not sure on the springs as the cars will most likely be different weights. Most people (even VXR owners) change to Eibach or H&R springs.
