how do i fit mudflaps?

I've just got my self a full set of mudflaps, and i didnt get any fitting instructions with them.

the front flaps seem easy, but i'm unsure about the rear, they came with small like "plugs" that push over the side of somthing so you can screw through them... what i dont know is how/wer they fit.

i'm presuming i mark the holes on the arch liner, drill them, and pull out the archliner a little and slip the "plugs" over the side, and pop the archliner back in place.

I'm not sure about putting them on the car at the moment tho, i've painted them with halfords paint, and the colour match dusn't look too good...

anyway, a little help on fitting would help alot.

the rear ones all you do is take the torx screws from inside the liner out then put the spacers between mudflap and and liner and use new screws provided.the middle hole then needs drilling.then under the bumper drill a about 7mm hole and fit black rivet plug thing in. you dont really need the orange clips supplied.

Thanks all but, i'm not fitting them after all, i've painted them and i'm not happy at all with the match.

What is the silver called for the silver vecci? Not silver lightening the other one? star silver isn't it? Anyway thats what i used and its not good

i've had some star silver III made up, paint code 157, it looks like a better match, but i havn't painted them again yet, so i can't say for sure, but I'll let very1 know what its like once i've painted them again.

i am going to put some mudflaps on my car (sri) does anybody know if the standard vauxhall ones will fit the sri not sure if the side skirts and rear bumper are the smae shape

When I bought mine there was only a choice of one according to the dealer.. Fits a treat on the GSi.. Much better than the one's we put on the old 'B'

Possibily not as the instructions only listed the fitting options for the Veccy.. unless I didn't read in right..

Straight fit mate.... its well worth considering having them painted though... do a dry fit, then take them off and take them to the sprayers!!
