    Default crankshaft pulley seal

    anyone done the seal on the crankshaft pulley i seem to have an oil leak from mine is it an easy job or a big job to do its on a 2.2 direct if thair is any difference any info would be greatfull

    Which end of the crank is it mine was the gearbox end and was a big job as the box had to come out for a £25 seal.

    That's a lot easier but you got to watch you don't knock the engine timing when you do it but not as big as the other side.

    thanks for the quick responce paulhb think i will try ebay for the seal and have a go at doing the job myself

    I think you can get an uprated seal too, mines same but I'm being lazy...
