    rolleyes Colour polish ?

    Hi all got a few little scratches in my baby and since reading this forum got addicted and apparently Santa is gonna bring me a load of goodies to set me up including a da ( if I a good boy that is lol ) but in the meantime I want to get her a little bit ready for winter but want something to temp cover the scratches till my goodies come so was thinking bout getting a colour polish just to cover them and got some srp ang egp will these go on top of the colour pol something like the turtle wax or any other suggestions that I can do for now

    I have just bought some for "Black" cars from Asda for £4, its Turtlewax, it will help to disguise some of the whiter marks on my girlfriends black car.

    Oh, and I intend to wear gloves when I do it, otherwise it will stain my fingers.

    Use Srp instead it fills in scratches my covering them then u need to seal it with some sealant or wax so it doesn't come off when it rains etc to be fair egp isn't that good really get some wax from halfords am currently using a meguires wax as my collinite has ran out

    As marc said, I personally would sack the colour polish. If you do choose it though dont put SRP on top because it has cleaners in it which will remove the polish underneath it.

    I often use EGP on my black Vectra and it seems to last okay, especially if you use multiple coats. ;-) I think a decent coat or three of wax would last better, though. Paul :-)
