    Default Leaf Vac / Blowers

Anyone have one, missus has just come cack with one from a friend (Black&Decker GW350) and nearly injured myself twice!!

Sucked something up that come flying out of the plastic fan casing like a bullet, thought must be a 1 off a big stone so picked up the plastic and duct taped it on lol, 5 mins later it happened again but came flying up out the top!!... So I've thrown it on the floor, kicked and shouted at it etc but...

Are these supposed to have some kind of fail safe for twigs or small stones, what's point in having them if you have to pre screen or rake your lawn... And she wanted to buy a brand new one! Sod that, gonna go buy a pressure washer instead!...

sounds very dangerous indeed lol, and yes a pressure washer is a good thing to have, can be used as a water brush.

I've got a cheap one - never had it spitting stones through the casing, but it does sometimes get bunged up in the bag duct on hoover mode

I'll leave the shopping for one up to her, I'm happy with a rake... But I suppose the amount of time I say I want x y & z for the car and she gives in is worth me letting her off, although I'll be only one using it

Well if this is scrap, anyone want an electric turbo! Pmsl
