    Default Clips holding pollen filter

At some point during a service somewhere one of those daft clips holding the pollen filter in place has been snapped off. I'm currently having trouble with the heater motor and resistor and when i've looked the filter is hanging forward by one corner where the clip has snapped. Has anyone got any solutions for holding the pollen filter in place??

Yes. Same happened to mine. Just take the filter out and before you re-fit it, pack under the paper flap with some foam (I used some from an old settee cushion). When you fit the filter back in, the foam should give it a tight enough fit to prevent it from falling forward. As well as foam, any soft material packing should do the same job e.g. a bit of soft wood, a bit of polystyrene etc. Mine is rock solid and has been for months. A paper clip may even work.

I had the same problem and used an elastic band, some tie wraps may do the same job

Experimented with the old filter and found a paper clip to be excellent. Put it along the top/long edge beside where the broken clip is. I was concerned if it came off and got sucked into the fan motor so a small blob of super glue on the clip has sorted that. Ill just snip it off when i have to change the filter
