    Default Head Gasket gone????

    hi, I have a 07 1.8vvt sri
I keep losing coolant having to fill up about an inch from the marking every 3 weeks, now I have noticed oil in the coolant tank and an oily smell when the fan is on.
Does this mean a new head gasket? Anyone know what going on with it?
    thanks

Personally I would get it sorted ASAP to prevent any further damage. If it does overheat you may need to get the head skimmed as well as a new gasket.

Get the system pressure tested, it will confirm if the gasket has gone. Are you also getting mayonaise in the rocker cover? Especially on the filler cap.
