vibration when accelerating and poor fuel consuption

hi.wonder if anyone has had this problem.car is an 07 cdti 150 sri veccy.had a wiring fault on it,had i repaired by a dodgy sparky but in turn managed to wipe main ecu rendering car non starter.car went to vx main dealers.ecu reprogramed and wiring fixed completely.but since i had car back when i put my foot down a strang vibration appears at around 2000 rpm but goes if i back off the throttle.also fuel consumption increased.used to get 50 to 55 mpg on cruise at 70 mph now bearly get 35 to 40 mpg.vx did say they put updated prog into ecu.could this be the cause.....cheers mark

also the car has been back to main dealers and tech 2d the car and said no electrical probs or codes coming up.
