    Default Today's expense

My car had a real struggle starting when cold, thought it would probably need new glow plugs, today engine management light came on so had the codes read and it threw up glow plug and injector plug codes can't remember what they were but £280 later car is running like a dream

Hell £280 is steep, the glow plugs are about £12 each from the stealers and take about 1/2 hour to replace

Good job it's running better but might be useful to hunt around in future. That's been a pricey job. |Glow plugs - £60, Hours labour £40, Codes read £40 is still half of that. But on a high note, it sorted your problem which is the main thing

Think it was the injector plugs which took the time dealer has agreed to pay half so that's a bonus, looking at getting the car terracleaned as well anyone had any experience?

There is really no need for the terraclean, complete waste of money. Stick a can of BG244 in a full tank and that should do

Yer cars a preface 1.9cdti 150 and it had the old yellow plugs so have changed all of them to the new style blue plugs. He showed me some videos of cars having the treatment and the emissions tests before/after, very convincing stuff :s
