Mud flap refitting
I have an 02 vectra C and the front passenger mud flap was ripped off when going over a car park speed bump.
I went to vauxhall this morning thinking I would be able to buy a couple of new fittings and reattach it but nope you have to buy not one but a pair of new molded flaps (not impressed)
Does anyone know of these type of fittings are available from another source as I really don't want to buy new flaps at £24 or maybe if there is an alternative fix for this issue.

When I had the mudflaps on mine I didn't use the fittings I just used self tapping screws and put a black screw cover on the screw head

Are these the ones where you push the pin in like these:

That's the type of fitting I was expecting but seeing as the parts guy at vauxhall said the fitting parts for the mudflaps didn't come separate I was expecting something different.
I've just been out and looked at the drivers side and can't really see very well as it's dismal outside but feeling around it certainly feels like the good old push rivets, why the hell did he tell me you can't get them, I know they sell these and ebay is full of them.
There is also some sort of allen bolt underneath and thats still there as unfortunately thats ripped through the flap but should still be useable.
