Nice to see an unbiased review by the Telegraph guy. He obviously didn't go into the review thinking "I don't like this car even before I've driven it' and therefore wrote a clear, informative and well written review. He also seemed to like it as well!

Thank you for the review, one thing that I take from it is that they mention that the Elite should come with the travel assistant as standard. I really hope this is true, cause I have been keeping a watch for them on E-Bay as it is not mentioned as standard in any of the data sheets that I have seen from Vx. But then again I may not have read the Vx documents with all my attention.

I will have to run and get the data sheets again.

Yep, just as I thought. I have just looked at all the paper work I have got on the new Signum and all of them show that the travel assistant is an optional extra across the range including the Elite.

But I sure hope that the review is right, cause it will not be the first typing error is the brochure. I noted that the top speed for the 150 Cdti is only listed as 118mph, I contacted Vx and asked if this meant that the Signum was lacking va va voom on the top end. Vx then took this back to the technical department and came back to me saying that it was if fact a typo and it should have stated that the top speed is 129mph. Now in my books thats not a bad increase in power for just the cost of a phone call.

LOL, it might just Duncan, but hey its like a lot of things out there, at the moment its just hearsay, the proof is in the piece of paper that one gets from the rolling road, so for now I will just hold my breath and wait and see.

That is an impressive top speed, the 129 that I listed is of the standard 1.9 Cdti 150.
I would expect you to have made a few modifications, cause the standard 3.0 V6 Cdti is only listed as do 137Mph.

What have you had done?
