build my collection that is lol
Really good mate used there Polish and got there interior dressing
as marc says , all brands have there good /bad points
you ask which is best /good and will get lots off different answers . i use poorboys white diamond/ black hole and there sealant , also got the compounds , but then ive a lot off other brands , that are as good /better imo . what are you after buying / colour off car . what you got already , then ill advise what else you need .
khalid
I have tried their compounds and if I am honest there a better ones out on the market. The only thing I use CG for now is their accessories and some sealants, glazes and wax.
ginge what you using atm . im finding the 105/205 very good compared to the 3m ,
well im after building a good collection. what i have allready is .......nothing lol, just some turtlewax car polish. which i do get good results following the how 2 guide on here. i want to remove swirls out of paintwork, and also get a really deep reflective shine. my car is black sapphire. also some scratches what need repairing and afew bits where the paint has been chipped off
ok the chips , i cant help with , ( you could touch them up first , so they will look better ) . im taking it that your doing this by hand , if just using the poorboys this what id do/use . give the car a claying ( i say more important than the wax/polish ) once clyed then use black hole ( this will take some swirls out and cover the deeper ones , after id give it a coat off the poorboys sealant , this will see good results all by hand . you will get all from here . http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Poorboys-B...item20c8a80c4c
i use this clay as you only need water as a lube ,http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bilt-Hambe...item19d597afbe
anything else i can help just ask .
is it worth buying a DA machine polisher ?? and what are the differences doing it by hand ?? and thanks for the info supplied.
