You need to replace the rear pair as soon as, easy job, even easier if you are fitting lowered springs. Currently the whole rear of your car will be unbalanced and could affect the road handling

PI's are fine, best is eibach but they are about £50 more.
If you are a bit short if might be worth putting up a "wanted" thread and see if anyone has some freebies. State you car details as springs are different for each model/version depending on axle weight.

I would suggest you get the springs sorted asap. It has been know for the spring to break and bits of it end up in your tyre, not normally a good outcome.........

Agreed, I noticed as soon as the offside rear spring snapped right at the base on mine
    The handling was clearly compromised
In the event of an accident it could cause an issue with a claim
Equally, if you were involved in a major accident you would have to live with the consequences

The failed spring is now sitting lower and affecting other connected components and they will wear out now

It is best practice to replace both springs across the car

yeah to be honest i didnt notice it although i did notice the car is a bit all over the place when accelarating and coming off power, but i put that down to the 4 wheel alignment because the guy who did it was retared and i wish i never took it to the place.

broken springs put excess strain on things such as anti roll bar drop links and bushes if you dont replace them you will have to replace the extra worn out bits come mot time

losuspension.com sell on ebay and there well priced i have some and have no complaints

    the ones i have are
