    Default Blue & white LEDs

Hi guys not sure if someone can help me but I'm in need of a link of some sort, I'm looking at buying myself some blue & white LEDs to do a dash conversion, I need LEDs for

    Front/rear electric window switches
    Headlight switch
    Cd70
    Heater control panel
    Map reading light switches
    Parking sensor button
    Alarm button

I'm not looking at doing the instrument cluster just yet as I have never soldered before and want to try this myself over time any help and advice appreciated

    This is VERY useful...

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...LED-conversion

TBH i would leave the CD70 & Steering wheel scrollers until last they're a VERY small LED and are very tricky. The PLCCs are not too bad if you have a steady hand but maybe too tricky for someone who has never soldered before. I'd start with the passenger door switch as it doesnt have many leds and is fairly cheap to replace if it should become damaged

If you have never soldered get someone local to you to do it , soldering seems straight forward but the damage you can do without knowing what you are doing is immense. Ask someone who has done their own conversion how difficult it is , I have done well over 100 conversions , so I know what I am talking about.

Speak to the staff at your local Maplins, there's normally 1 or 2 who are competent enough with a soldering iron who will help out for beer money. Ebay is a good place to look for the LEDs. You need 2 different types of LEDs for the PCBs, PLCC-2 SMD and SMD 0805.
