    Default Airless tyres

Radical new generation of design.!cid_3_1198097960@web171602_mail_ir2_yahoo.jpgYes, those are 'spoke' like connections to the inner part of
the tyre from the outside tread 'wrap!'
The next picture shows how odd it looks in motion!cid_4_1198097960@web171602_mail_ir2_yahoo.jpgMakes you wonder how the ride feels doesn't it?!cid_5_1198097960@web171602_mail_ir2_yahoo.jpg!cid_6_1198097960@web171602_mail_ir2_yahoo.jpg!cid_7_1198097960@web171602_mail_ir2_yahoo.jpg!cid_8_1198097960@web171602_mail_ir2_yahoo.jpgThey are airless and are scheduled to be out in the market very soon.
The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on them.
Just think of the impact on existing technology:
    A. No more air valves.
    B. No more air compressors at gas stations.
    C. No more repair kits.
    D. No more punctures / flats. These are actual pictures taken at the South Carolina plant of Michelin.

Something like this seems to "break cover" every few months, yet we are still to see them in the marketplace?

They have made similar tyres for scooters, they will never get a puncture!

These have been popping up on car forums for years, for some military and construction situations, they will more than likely have some great benefits, however can never seem them becoming mainstream IMHO but the technology behind them looks very interesting to say the least.
