    Default 19" snowflakes

    Had a humming noise coming from the back of my car thought it was wheel bearing had tyres checked today both tyres on inside have eggs on and down to the wire plus 1 alloy cracked only bought the car last month mot had advisory on back tyres inside going low dont know how they passed them thinking of going back and telling them what do u think

    If the camber is out at the back, they will soon scrub the tyres. I dont think you have any comeback on the MOT station.

    |When you look at your rear wheels from the back, do they stick out more at the bottom then the top, i.e. they are not vertical. A lot of Vectras suffer from incorreclty aligned rear wheels.

    You will need to have them re-aligned properly.

    You will also have to get your snowies professionally welded to repair them.

    Yes it's my mate who doing them got his own tyre place will get the tracking done at to thanks for the info

    You need a proper full 4-wheel alignment doing - the SRi Vectra's have camber adjustment bolts too, so don't get fobbed off.

    As much as I hate to, ATS have proper machines now and they did a very good job with me (in the end - once the right car was selected), mine was a fair bit out at the back, I had far too much toe in (the rear tyres pointing inwards at the front) which affected camber, both adjusted, and the front to match and its miles better.

    No noise now other than the typical 19" Snowie tyre noise
