Was looking at vectra vxr but having second thoughts so as a totally different car im wondering what the insignia elite diesels are like and also looking at octavia vrs diesel

depends wether you want to stick with vauxhall,insignia are ok suppose,if you decide in getting 1 then try and get 1 thats got the options on as you will want to get the options retro fitted in the end.


the octavia vrs is a really nice car,my nephew bought a brand new 1 as hes in the forces and
its absolutely rapid indeed.very nice to drive aswell

yeah well the forces do get a damn good discount,they dont pay tax on cars

The guy I work with has an Octavia vrs (company car) I've driven it many times and it goes like....well, lets just say its very fast.
One major problem though is the carbon build up, the fault light comes on about once a week so you have to drive at 2k revs for quite a few miles to burn it off, trouble is it doesnt always work so it drops into limp mode. That then means a trip to the garage for them to rectify it.
If your not buying new, just bare this in mind because it is a real pain in the rear...and it keeps costing you money
