Default Trolley jack and axle stand placement

It's that time of year to drop my oil, but after the last time when my drive-on ramps decided to shoot out when driving up them, I've decided to jack it up and put it on axle stands.

but I'm unsure where to use the trolley jack not am I sure where is the best place to put the axle stands.

can anyone shed some light for me

The axel onto the arms nearest to brakes. Look for solid arm like a wishbone. Jack it up beside wheen under skirt. You'll se a bump there.

the jack points are marked, well are on my car, and it helps to use a flat peace pf wood on the top of the jack just to protect the jacking area, im not going to advise you on the axel stands though

The diagram is all very well but you can't jack it up and put the axle stands in the same place when the jack is already there.
