    Default lifespan of an autobox

Anybody like to guess how long my autobox will last its done 200k i think it has a replacement when it was still fairly new but i dont want to spend lots of money on car and then lose the gearbox.
car is a 3.2v6 signum box can be sluggish to change up when cold but apart from that its fine.

also could someone tell me what gearbox i have its a 2003 model

    thanks

How long is a piece of string? Some will do 400-500K no problems. I would suggest giving it a fluid change.

Thought autoboxes you could generally change the fluid hence seeing ATF being sold in shops.

Merc boxes go forever. No reason why yours shouldn't. Give it an oil and filter change clean the magnet and happy motoring

Is it 5 or 6 speed. I think its the previous model. AF32 maybe? I cant remember.

I changed my oil at 20000 miles and it needed it IMO. VX state every 100000 I think, but all the saab tuners recommend yearly on anything that has been modified.
