led side repeaters

anyone used leds for there side repeaters, does it throw up a warning, needs load resistors etc preface vec c

I had them chrome indicator bulbs in my facelift but then changed my headlights to angeleyes but for some strange reason they didn't work in the angeleyes so i gave them away and used the amber ones but now i got my self a pre-face ive just ordered them again thanks farley as i forgot all about them

oh,forgot to add that the 'orange' insert that is inside the side repeaters,i just broke it into a couple of pieces inside the lens then poked it out so now when you look at the repeater it doesnt show any 'orange'

What bit do you mean the bit that is in front of the bulb when its in place?
