Default Would you be happy or worried about this?

I've seen a pre-face SRi 1.9 (120) that has caught my attention. I am half-considering a change to save some fuel costs.
This is it's maintenance background -

    28/07/07 - 26,682 miles - Scheduled Service
    30/08/08 - 39,892 miles - Scheduled Service + Brake Pads All Around
    30/08/08 - 39,896 miles - MOT
    31/03/09 - 46,779 miles - New Turbo + Oil Service
    22/08/09 - 52,254 miles - Scheduled Service
    22/08/09 - 52,254 miles - MOT
    30/10/09 - 54,636 miles - New Althernator
    01/04/10 - 60,023 miles - Scheduled Service
    01/04/10 - 60,023 miles - MOT
    15/04/10 - 60,168 miles - New Flywheel Fitted
11/10/10 - 61,748 miles - Scheduled Service Using Vauxhall Parts
    30/11/10 - 62,584 miles - New EGR Valve Fitted
04/02/11 - 63,177 miles - Two New Front Shock Absorbers & EGR Cooler
26/03/11 - 63,870 miles - Scheduled Service Using Vauxhall Parts
    28/03/11 - 63,889 miles - MOT
    13/05/11 - 64,500 miles - Four New Tyres + Four Wheel Alignment
    04/07/11 - 65,000 miles - Two Rear Coil Springs
15/09/11 - 66,028 miles - Scheduled Service Using Vauxhall Parts
18/03/12 - 68,223 miles - Scheduled Service Using Vauxhall Parts
    26/03/12 - 68,372 miles - MOT

To you, does this scream "money pit that goes wrong a lot" or "well-maintained car that previous owners have looked after"?

Doesn't look to be anything out of the "ordinary" to be honest, and good that what has been replaced, has been replaced.

I would very much put it in the "maintained regardless of cost" category

I'd buy it as it's just had all the norm stuff done and there's nothing for you to do

thats quite a nice maintaince background id of thought, dont appear to do many miles, which could indicate a local town shop / school run type of owner.

The turbo change doesn't look "normal", especially at just 47,000 miles, and normally I'd be concerned that the turbo may have failed because the owner couldn't be bothered to have the oil changed before that, but the schedule shows it has indeed been serviced.

HOWEVER - I would not accept a single print out as proof of any of this work having been done, or even a bunch of stamps in the booklet. I would insist on seeing the invoices; firstly because it's harder to forge a dozen documents than to forge just one, secondly because I would telephone several of the garages that have supposedly done the work and see if they have a record of the services in their computer system.

im with dan blacksri on this one
the turbo is the only one that sticks out being on 46779 miles but that would have cost money is there any invoices on that and why it was changed ?

all the other bits like egr and alternator ive seen before break on this forum

at least you havent got any swirl flaps to worry about

    how much is it?

    whats the year ?

Thanks for the replies, keep them coming. It's a late 2005, 55 reg. It's also wearing Vec-c.com stickers on the rear quarters, which makes me think it's more cared for than not.

    I'd have it.

My last CDTi (150) had a list as long as your arm of parts replaced. It gave no problems after they'd all been done
