Default Latest renewal with Chris Knott...

Well,.. nice to see all these promises of great deals are being passed on.......

£612.50 .... for a 40 year old with a 1.9CDTI, no points and low risk area!

Needless to say after returning home from hospital to have my sides stitched up, I have decided not to return my business with this Vauxhall Specialist scheme and entertain the much cheaper quote so far of £340!!

    pfrrrt!

Car Insurance is a complete Lottery. In fact its the only thing I have noticed is getting cheaper for me in the last couple of years. House insurance too tbh, just been on the phone to Esure to cancel my renewal, as its £50 cheaper by cancelling it and getting a new policey with Esure via Compare the Market.com, and as the man said a free Meerkat too.

Your right - it pays to go on the comparison sites every time - but make sure you try more than one as some only deal with certain companies. Another thing to watch is that a lot of companies will give you a really low price to get your business but when it comes to renewal time it will have gone up considerably even with no claims or changes - search again and change if necessary or ring your current company and see if they will price match the new quote - a lot will in order to keep your business.

Points don't even affect the policy anyway and even if they did, it's minimal. Didn't affect mine, it's more the modifications that shaft the insurance sky high.

Well,.. meerkat,... fabulous,... now down to £280!! Thats more like it!

Discussed these so called 'specialists' with my pal last night, they try them ever year for the likes of Volvo etc,. and they are always more expensive.

So .... looks like I will be getting a nice new cuddly toy!!
