    Default dent puller

i have some dents on my roof where the bonnet came up on the previous owner (reason i got it cheap)

the paints not cracked, they are rather large dents spread over a wider area rather than a car park ding kinda dent

    anyone used this before?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3008026901...84.m1423.l2649

it will cost me more than that to get it fixed properly, i doubt ill get 100% fix on it but should be able to pull most of it out

You would be far better finding a PDR guy in your area, they normally only charge about £50-60 a panel, regardless of how many dents there are. That or try the plumber freeze thing, but I wouldn't go that slide hammer route tbh.

Agreed the pointless dent removal guys DO use slide hammers ... But without training you will make it look worse than it currently is... Therefore get an expert to do it and your only going to have to pay out once

well i bought the puller as i like to do things myself, which i quite often surprise myself

if i ****** it up even more my mate paints so will get the roof done

heres the puller and one of the tabs, just waiting on my glue gun then ill give it a bash

i bought tabs with metal inserts as theres less chance of them breaking then

Goodluck, I'm currently doing training on and off through my work for panel beat training.
    Using bars and glue.
I'm all for giving it ago yourself but if you've never done this before it's never gonna be right.

I've been watching this kit as its 99p starting lol (251179526090), but as above its harder then it looks, I've had a go with my own wing using various tools and its not spot on... Need a proffesional.

Good luck tho, hopefully your better and have more patients
