Heres the option in the computer for daylight option. Its disabled at minute but wanted to know does it mean it's headlights on all time anytime when running the car? Bit like volvo? Lol

For the front, with the light switch set to off - version 1 = side lights on with ignition; dips come on as soon as engine started.
version 2 = side lights and dips come on as soon as ignition is on.

The headlight switch will function as normal in the other positions.

    Versions 3 & 4 do nothing.

That's an idea. It might work without BCM activation for time being? Just a hopeful thought

Yes, it has to be activated in the UEC only.

It even doesn't ask for the car security code !

I'm just guessing, but I would expect the foglamp DRL option 4, only to work, when the foglamps are capable of working normally.

    As said, just guessing though.

That is strange, I couldn't see any change when I first used option 4 on mine either. I must say that I was concerned that changes made via the unit I was using might be "risky" so I was extremely cautious about trying them. When I did, I thought I had it working, I then disconnected the kit, and then restarted things, only to find that I didn't have anything working as expected after all.

So, I tried again and duplicated the original process.

    Voilla, it worked.

At some point from originally programming the selection, to disconnecting the equipment, after the changes, something had stopped the setup from working. I then discovered that whilst programming with the unit attached, all seemed to work, but when the programmer was disconnected it stopped working,.......... until I started the engine that is.

It seems that when programming with the unit attached, things work with just the ignition on, but once disconnected, the option only starts to work once you start the engine.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but I had the sense of failure originally, because all seemed to work with the engine off, but once I disconnected, everything I had done had stopped working..............After starting the engine, all was ok.

Just read that after repogramming, you should turn ignition off for 30 seconds and unplug the Op-Com. I'll try again this way...

I also remember having to do it twice when I programmed my flip-key.
