    Default Door trigger

Hi all, hope you can help with something, im in the middle of fitting an alpine roof monitor and it requires either a positive or negative door trigger, where could i get this from as i think the roof lights are fed via ribbon which will be a right git to get onto, any ideas?

Not sure on the doors but between the ribbon block and circuit board it turns back into wires if you want to splice into them...

Not sure it's powerful enough as people have had issues even powering LED's, plus no need to mess about feeding down the A pillars...

Pretty sure the grey/brown is a negative trigger IIRC.

I dont mean to insult your intelligence but are you sure its negative trigger on these, my old astra used to be but not sure sure on newer vauxhalls? I dont suppose you have a wiring diagram for the 4 wires involved as ive established brown is constant live, brown/white is live when main stwich is flicked (guessing this goes back to rear lights courtesy lights also), but not sure on the other 2, any help greatly appreciated as ill be sorting the wiring tomoz after work so need to get my head straight with it. Many thanks

Solid brown is always earth on Vectras unless yours has had some custom wiring done.
