Default out with the old, in with the new. 314s

314 set up fitted today, new gm discs, new gm pads, oil n filter, fuel filter £120, many thanks to the lad who did it, who was over the moon with getting the job iassigned to him in the garage, something a little different for him to do, his first time working with a 2.2 direct, cant fault his work, and once again he really enjoyed working on the car as he is a vauxhall fan himself, the were abit concerend that the job would not be as simple as i had told them it would be, but in the end all the lads were surprised at how easy it was to swap over the brakes.

need a paint when i can decide on a colour.

They're damn good brakes. My GSi had them from new. The brakes are superb. A worthwhile modification, I'd say! Good work. Paul

The best thing about them in my opinion is the controllability they give you. You can brake gently... or really fiercely... as you wish. I have never experienced fade with them. The VX linings must be very good. Enjoy! Paul

I did my first emergency stop the other day with these brakes and the back rests from the rear seats shot forward! Nearly pooed myself.

98% of that work is identical to doing it on a 2.0T or Z22SE, so not much significant about it being his first 2.2 direct
