    Default abs light/sensor

    had abs light on had it scanned and code was front n/s sensor replaced hub/sensor cleared fualt and it came straight back on any ideas what i should do next?

    Take it for a drive an conform reading or not.

    check connectors/wiring for resistance

    Voltage drop on cable or use an ohm meter

    i have an ohm meter so do i need to spin hub while testers on if a get a change in reading its not the sensor?

    What diagnostic equip do you have?

    spin to check for voltage.

    Check for ohm reading through sensor an through wiring into ecu

    9/10 its corrosion at connectors

    Could be the speed sensor wiring connector has got water in it. Fairly common problem for the front left wheel. Have a look behind the hub and you will see the sensor wire clipped into the suspension leg. Disconnect the wiring plug and see if there is water in it, dry and refit may solve the problem. Worth doing on both fronts.
    a member on here had water in the connection and caused abs light to show.

    where did you get the new hub from?? i had same issue and went for a cheapo part from ebay and was poor quality, didnt solve problem, ended up getting original part, cost more but sorted problem straight away.

    problem is now sorted it was indeed a coroded cable cut it out solered back together and fault cleared so prob never needed the hub after all but nevrmind sailed through its mot so im happy <br><br>thanks guys
