Default Fiat gaskets for EGR valve

looking through the post, seems like the Fiat gaskets for EGR valve on a 1.9 cdti 150 is worth doing as it helps to reduce the build up into the inlet manifold?

but 2 questions, might sound silly, but is this not just letting it all build up in the pipes before it enters the inlet manifold?

i have heard than it throws up the spanner light and somethings the engine managment light? is this true?

Are you bothered about EML or emissions light?

If not, then I recommend you blank it completely.

MOT man is though. and would you not risk missing an actual issue. Best better is to blank and map out the egr.

The same amount pass's through but because there are restrictions the soot pass through at a higher pressure so dont cool as quick and get stuck in the egr.

It helps but dosent cure all egr problems.
