Am going to colour code the front grill on my facelift silver now would I do it like this wet and dry the grill someone tell me best grit please now would I still have plastic primer it or not. Spray the grill and scratch it with a pad between coats till the final wet coat. Then primer scratching again till final coat does this seem ok or not thanks

I did want to do it black but after a hard long look it doesn't look right on a silver car with it silver looks clean
