    Default OK... Here we go....

Spoke with Chris at Regal Autosport today who confirmed the following....

They now have the kits ready for the Vectra 1.9 CDTi and offer the following........

    Upgrade Phase I - Remap & InterCooler (Bar&Plate) = £1,000 inc VAT Fitted = 205-210 bhp

    Upgrade Phase II - Remap & InterCooler (Bar&Plate) & Turbo = £3,000 inc VAT Fitted = 235-240 bhp & 380 lbft torque

The kits will be available for fitting at the end of February 2007.

Kits are available for Astra, Vectra, Signum & Zafira Diesel 16v engines.

Apparently, 4 Vectra cars have been fitted already.... and Chris is going to see if I can get a ride in one, as a demo...

What does everyone think ??? - anyone heard any BAD reports ??? - or GOOD reports ???

will other things need replacing for the phase II works in order to cope. surely components of the transmission will need replacing to handle that HUUUGE increase in power.

if it's a goer.....i say go for it Steve. £3k is ALOT of money though. Do they offer a guarantee because i don't think Vauxhall will look at it under warranty again!

Steve I know, we have spoken about this, I have my doubts to be honest.

The F40 gearbox is not very good anyway so this would really stress it out, also the dual mass flywheel for sure won't take it for long.

Regal are usually very optimistic with there figures, they claimed 340bhp from and astra VXR !! I would take it with a pinch of salt ...

I've gotta say Steve, all this money you've spent on your car making it a VXRD. Well why not just get a VXR. The difference in fuel costs against upgrade costs would be insignificant.
