Default Getting serious now....not running at all cdti 150

    Help please,

having replace the core plug I have put everything back together, that includes.....
    alternator
    fuel pump
    extension housing
    oil cooler

it has has a new timing belt and water pump, the timing marks haven't moved from when I took the old one off.

start the car and it turns over, runs for a spilt second and dies, it sounds like fuel delivery, I have fuel at all the injectors but I am wondering if if is not getting into the engine at the right time!!
now I was led to believe that the cdti engine don't have pump timing, can someone confirm this please, and if there are any ideas on what this issue could be please can you help.

    thanks

HP pump doesn't need to be timed because all it does is pressurise the common rail. However, it does need to be working properly to get sufficient pressure into the rail for the injectors to function properly to get enough fuel into the cylinders.

Camshaft sensor is used to position injector timing once the engine is started - crankshaft sensor is used during startup. So, maybe your camshaft sensor isn't working properly?
