    Default iPhone iso6 slow wifi

As title ready. After updating iphone to iso6 i have intermitantly had slow wifi on the home server also the same wifi i did the update. After googling this issue i have found a few have suffered this on apple forums.

Has anyone on here had it, got it or fixed it?

I have tried everything on the forums such as reset home server, reset phone network settings, set the dns on the prob server to 8.8.8.8.

Turning off Bluetooth can make a difference if you've got it on.

I didn't find any difference between iOS 5 and iOS 6 on my 4S or my wife's 3GS in terms of wifi speed.

What, in terms of battery usage?

Makes no diffence on my I4. I've tried it with it left off all the time, and left on all the time. Battery lasts the same amount of time.

Dave - Bluetooth and Wifi share an aerial and transmitter/receiver chip. It can't run both at the same time so it time multiplexes them (this is true of a lot of phones and laptops that use the same Broadcom chipset). Under some circumstances this can cause the wifi connection to drop packets. Turning off Bluetooth seems to resolve this. But if you've not got it on, then it's not the issue here.

John - iOS6 was jailbroken a week or so before it went on general release.

Apple think i may be because when i did the DL it was Thursday when it came out and cause it was going to 50% then 25% restarting, loosing connection and jumping around. They said to try connecting to itunes doing a full factory wipe and reset and reloading all my stuff

Every few days when it slows i'm just turning the phone off then on again and it's ok
