Rusted heat shield bolts.

The heat shields around the spare wheel well have come loose. On trying to remove the rusted nuts, they have snapped off,and the heads are not visible from inside. Any suggestions from anyone who's sorted it. It may help solve a very annoying loud creaking sound.

Just remove the heatsheild, I did this when my centre one fell off, its not been an issue.

On my old Vectra B i used pop rivets, when these eventually came loose i used a couple of self-tappers.

I used gripfill to stick the loose section back. Its still on the car 2 years later!
