    Default CD70/CID/Bluetooth UHP

    Quick Question..

We know if a CD70 and CID are removed as a pair can be installed into another car. If the CD70 and CID also have a UHP bluetooth unit connected will that also work if removed from one car and installed into another?

Yes it will with some minor programming as everything else needs to know its there easiest thing is to put it in delivery mode before selling on guaranteed no issues and whilst were are on the subject you can put your SRI leather into delivery mode for my car bud, oh dang already have SRI leather lol.

Will do Paul. if i go ahead with the Insigna idea, ill advertise the car as is and see what happens (px with vx would be joke) Failing that ill get out the gucci bits and do a px like for like with whoever wants the bits.

It will wrench me to take all these bits out - lots of hard work by many people to the car to what it is today.

    I agree with Dean -
Whatever you "had" as the Infotainment package will transfer as a complete unit.

Programming may be required for the display to match it to the recipient car, such as ECC / SAC/ Air-Con etc, and also fuel type if you are using the BC function.

    UPDATE: -
Programming will not require the donor vehicle's security code, as it will be Variance Configuration Settings or Code Index values that will be changed. - You will not need to put the unit into delivery mode for this stuff.

Only divorcing, pairing or adding and removing indevidual components will require the security code.

    As all comments above...

If your selling it as a lot, it'll be fine, they can fit it in and it will work. If you have your car pass just write the number on the top of the radio so they can then deal with gaining access to the variant config and adding/changing items they need to, like the aircon for example. If they have ECC and its programmed for normal aircon they wont get the numbers displayed on the bottom of the CID...
